Penny T. Hollis Films is a multi-platform production company that blends innovative and inspiring storytelling with masterful and thought-provoking visuals. PTH Films champions social, cultural and historical awareness through cinema, shedding light on the common bonds of human experience.

PTH Films is the brainchild of filmmaker PENNY T. HOLLIS, a Louisiana native with a Master’s of Fine Arts in Film from Howard University and a BA in Mass Communications from Grambling State University. Hollis specializes in telling the untold stories revolving around her rich southern heritage and traditions. Working with a creative team of storytellers, Hollis is dedicated to unveiling the truth about humanity, highlighting the joys and tragedies of today's society, and inspiring audiences to dialogue on the issues we wish to change. As a woman of color, Hollis strives to empower women of all ethnicities through film. She has worked in post production on shows for Discovery, National Geographic, Travel Channel and others for over 5 years. She currently teaches scriptwriting at George Mason University. Hollis calls the Nation’s Capital home.
